Jesus Wants You — Just As You Are

Forget everything you’ve previously heard about Jesus. Lay aside the biases, the misconceptions, and the religious baggage. Now imagine someone who isn’t interested in anything but your well-being. Someone who will love you unconditionally, support you without strings, and never walk away — no matter what.

That person is Jesus!

He doesn’t judge you based on where you’ve been or what you’ve done. He doesn’t wait for you to clean up your life before wrapping His arms around you. He simply loves you — deeply, eternally, and without reservation. He said;

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NKJV)

Jesus invites you to come with your burdens, not hide them. In fact, if you had no baggage, He’d have nothing to carry. He is the burden-bearer, the ever-present help in your time of need. His desire is to lift the weight off your shoulders and give you peace. The bible says;

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” — John 3:17 (NKJV)

Jesus is not a harsh judge or a cosmic policeman. He is a loving Father who longs to show you mercy and grace. He says:

“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV)

Even when we break His heart, He keeps loving us. Even when we ignore Him, He keeps pursuing us. That’s the kind of love He offers — relentless, restorative, and real.

“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” — Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)

Following Jesus isn’t about rules and regulations. It’s about relationship. It’s about knowing the One who loved you so much that He died for you — not when you were perfect, but while you were still in your sin.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

Jesus wants to be your closest friend — the One who walks with you, talks with you, and never leaves your side. He’s knocking on the door of your heart right now.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” — Revelation 3:20 (NKJV)

He’s not here to take from you — He’s here to give. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed.

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” — Acts 10:38 (NKJV)

If your heart is heavy, if you’ve lost your peace, if you’re ready to give up — wait. There’s someone who can turn it all around. His name is Jesus. And He’s standing right at the door of your heart, waiting for you to let Him in.

Prayer to Begin a Relationship with Jesus

Lord Jesus, I believe in You and in Your love for me. I know You died and rose again to set me free. I ask You to come into my heart and be Lord and Savior of my soul. Give me a brand new beginning and turn my life around. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer sincerely, you are now born again. Welcome to the family of God!

Now That You’ve Said Yes to Jesus: Your First Steps in Faith

Congratulations! If you just prayed to receive Jesus, you’ve made the most important decision of your life. Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we. You are now a child of God — forgiven, loved, and accepted.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

This is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship with Jesus. Like any relationship, it grows through time, communication, and connection. Here are a few simple steps to help you start strong:

Talk to God Daily

Prayer is simply conversation with God. You don’t need fancy words — just speak from your heart. Share your thoughts, ask questions, and listen for His guidance.

Read the Bible

Start with the Gospel of John or the Book of Mark. These books will help you understand who Jesus is and what He’s done for you. God’s Word is your spiritual food — it will strengthen and guide you.

Find a Bible-Believing Church

Community matters. Look for a church where Jesus is honored, the Bible is taught, and people are growing in faith. You weren’t meant to walk this journey alone.

Tell Someone

Share your decision with a trusted friend, mentor, or family member. Let them celebrate with you and support your growth.
